Web site CIFA was created in January 2003 by Natalia Udaltsova.

Natalia graduated from Leningrad (now St.Peterburg) University, many years worked as statistician and programmer at the Laboratory of Physical Biochemistry (head Prof.S.Shnol') at the Instute of Biological Physics in Pushchino.
Natalia was elected as General Secretary of CIFA in 1993.

In 1996 Natalia with family moved to USA, California, San Francisco Bay Area. Natalia works as Data Consultant at Kaiser Permanente, Division of Research in Oakland.
